Hope Empowers All Reaching Together (HEART Empowers) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting families across Texas and Missouri.

While we are in the early stages of growth, we are actively working to establish programs, partnerships, and infrastructure to serve communities long-term.

About HEART

HEART (Hope Empowers All Reaching Together) is a community-driven nonprofit focused on addressing food insecurity and building long-term support systems for individuals and families in need.

Founded in Texas and expanded into Missouri, HEART was created from lived experiences and a deep commitment to helping others.

Our founders have personally experienced food insecurity and financial hardship, giving them firsthand understanding of the challenges many families face. From stretching meals to last days to navigating difficult financial situations, these experiences shaped the foundation of HEART.

Before launching HEART, our founders spent years helping others in any way possible, supporting friends, connecting people to jobs, providing transportation, and using their own resources to help those in need.

That passion extended into formal service through programs like AmeriCorps, where work included community engagement on a Native American reservation, disaster recovery efforts following Hurricane Ian, and rebuilding homes in Houston years after Hurricane Harvey and Winter Storm Uri.

These experiences reinforced one belief:
Communities are strongest when people show up for each other.

HEART began with a simple but impactful focus, providing pantry box assistance and food support to families facing food insecurity. As the organization grows, the vision expands to include broader community support, and other programs that strengthen communities long-term.

We are building something meant to last, something that grows with the needs of the people we serve.
