Strengthening Food Access in Missouri Communities
Food insecurity continues to affect thousands of households across Missouri. Rising housing costs, medical expenses, job loss, and inflation can make it difficult for families to consistently access nutritious food. Many families are forced to make difficult decisions between groceries, utilities, and other essential needs.
Through the HEARTMO initiative, HEART Empowers works to provide practical support to individuals and families facing these challenges. Our goal is not only to deliver immediate food assistance but also to help strengthen long-term community support systems.
HEARTMO focuses on providing emergency pantry boxes, connecting families with community resources, and working with local partners to expand food access where it is needed most.
