Board members and leadership are required to act in the best interest of the organization at all times.
Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed and documented. Individuals with a conflict must recuse themselves from related discussions and decisions.
This policy ensures that all decisions are made with integrity and in support of the organization’s mission.
Financial Stewardship
HEART is committed to responsible financial management.
We maintain:
- Oversight of all financial activity
- Segregation of duties where feasible
- Careful review of program and administrative expenditures
- Transparent documentation of income and expenses
Donations are allocated to support:
- Food pantry initiatives
- Hygiene and essential supply distribution
- Storage, logistics, and outreach
- Administrative and infrastructure needs required for sustainable growth
We are currently in the process of securing 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and are building governance structures designed to meet long-term nonprofit compliance standards.
How Donations Are Used
HEART is committed to responsible stewardship and transparency.
Donations are used to support:
• Emergency pantry box assistance for families in need
• Food purchasing, storage, and distribution
• Community outreach and support programs
• Operational and compliance costs required to maintain and grow the organization responsibly
Funds may be allocated where most needed unless otherwise specified by the donor.
We are building both immediate relief and long-term sustainability to better serve our communities.
